Steps to Enhance Safety
We have designated March 26, the date of a revolving door accident in Tokyo, as "Safety Pledge Day."On this day, all of us in the Sanwa Group think about and renew our commitment to safety. In addition, we have implemented various initiatives to ensure safety, including Safety and Quality Inspection Month activities and the creation of the CSR Promotion Department.

Preservation of Obsolete Revolving Doors in Working Condition
A fatal accident occurred in March 2004 when a six-year-old boy got his head caught in a revolving door installed in the main entrance of the Roppongi Hills Mori Tower.
To ensure the lessons from this tragic accident remain foremost in our mind, the Sanwa Group has maintained the revolving door concerned in working condition. In 2014, 10 years after the incident, we opened an exhibit hall displaying obsolete machinery to make it easier for observers from inside and outside the company to view.
A large number of people visit the hall every year to observe obsolete machinery in working order as part of training programs on safety for manufacturers, developers, railroad companies and other companies.
